Who We Are
ReConnect/ReCollect: Reparative Connections to Philippine Collections at the University of Michigan is a diverse group of faculty, librarians, archivists, curators, collections managers, students, and members of the Filipino/Filipinx community committed to developing models for culturally-responsive and historically-minded stewardship of the Philippine collections at the University of Michigan.

“The composition of our team is unique in the way it crosses disciplinary and professional boundaries: it includes leading archivists, collections managers, LSA and SI research faculty, and graduate students.”
Ricky Punzalan, Co-PI

“Our project will explore and experiment with approaches to building relationships between collections and communities to produce a model for assessing and repairing harm. In this sense, the process is the product.“
Deirdre De La Cruz, Co- PI
